The UA-789 is also equipped with Irregular Heartbeat Detection, which provides blood pressure and pulse rate measurements even when an Irregular Heartbeat occurs, and HeartWise™ Technology which measures blood pressure on inflation while filtering out ambient noise on deflation. To obtain an accurate reading, it is important to use the correct cuff size. A cuff that is too small will result in a higher than expected reading and a cuff that is too large will result in a lower than expected reading. The UA-789 monitor is not compatible with the LifeSource Small blood pressure cuff. Using a small cuff will give you an inaccurate blood pressure reading.
